Bluer Skies

The weather has changed! It is still pretty chilly, but the rain is gone and the sun is out. Leaves are either changing color, or have completely fallen from the trees, it is definitely Fall here in New Zealand. With the rain gone our road tripping is much more enjoyable. As we slowly make our way to Auckland we have seen the raging Huka Falls, hung out at the very stinky sulfur pools in Rotorua, found a nice mountain lake to spend the night at, and an absolutely awesome beach side town called Mount Maunganui. Known as “Mount,” This tiny town outside the major city of Tauranga is pretty sweet. Lots of cool little hikes, including a quick tramp the top of the mount, and plenty of cafes have made this town a great place to hang out. Unfortunately we have to pick up and move along because we need to get to Auckland and sell off our friend Ace!

Looks nice but the whole area reeks of rotten eggs
