breakfast! |
We have spent nearly a week in Nelson, which for us is a lifetime.
We have really enjoyed having a “home-base”. Our camper park is clean and even
has a TV! We have watched two episodes of Homeland- our first TV in almost two
months! The town has tons of cute streets that all intersect into a very quaint
downtown. There are lots of boutiques, restaurants, cafes, and ice cream shops.
Of course we found our favorites and have gone back almost everyday. Those
include a falafel shop, a Thai curry stand, Penguino’s gelato shop, and a
delicious café.
We got to have cappuccinos on the terrace in the sun, wander
the farmer’s market eating berries, and stuff our faces with chicken kebab
falafels. They have a fabulous library that has provided us with actual free internet- a rarity. Needless to say
that Nelson is a favorite. (However, our opinion might be tinted since Nelson
has been our shower salvation twice and is the birthplace of Kyle’s Uke.)
